- our key goals are that young and adult unpaid carers are able to help and get help for someone with care and/or support needs in a way that maximises that person’s independence and dignity; that carers look after their own physical and emotional wellbeing; can manage financially and have the time and energy to enjoy their life and achieve things that are important to that
- to support the Head of Finance and Finance & Payroll Officer Assistant with the review and/or preparation of payroll
- reconciliation of different funds
- prepare accounts to trial balance, reconciling control accounts monthly. Produce financial reports as required
- prepare accounts to Trial Balance, reconciling control accounts monthly
- checking for data entry errors or irregularities
- inputting of prepaid card transactions into accounting software and reconciliation of account
- responding to queries in a timely and polite manner
- review debtors list, responsible for credit control
- ensure the organisations financial policies are adhered to and procedures are understood and communicated effectively to staff
- assist and provide support with preparation of annual budgets and monitoring
- to support the finance department in providing monthly reports to the charity and its stakeholders
