Responsibility
- we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic support worker to work at The Broad Group Ltd's home care service
- your responsibilities will include completing personal care, providing emotional support, shopping and cooking
- you will be working in a small team of experienced carers with excellent managerial support
- you will also work work across some of our other services around Worcestershire
- as a provider we specialise is support and care for young adults with sensory impairments, autistic spectrum disorders and learning disabilities
- this position will be predominantly working with an individual who is living in their family home and has a learning disability, an autistic spectrum disorder and is non-verbal
- we are a small family based residential care and support business operating in Worcestershire, which has now been operating and run by the same family for over 30 years
- many of the individuals who we support are profoundly deaf and are British Sign Language users and therefore all support staff will be taught the language and be put on a BSL level 1 course
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
