Responsibility

  • the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association is the voice of private capital in the UK
  • we are the industry body and public policy advocate for the private equity and venture capital industry in the UK
  • the BVCA engages with and supports the private capital community, connecting institutional investors, fund managers, portfolio companies, advisers and service providers
  • develop the BVCA data management and reporting vision and objectives with the Senior Leadership Team
  • we have been acting on behalf of this community for almost 40 years, enabling it to uphold its vision and achieve its goals, as it has moved from a niche part of the investment community to being a mainstream part of the wider economy
  • organize, store and analyse data mindful of security and confidentiality
  • for the UK as a whole, the industry helps to attract investment and talent from around the world to the UK
  • we actively represent this diverse community of long-term investors enabling them to speak with one clear and consistent voice to wider society, including the Government, media and MPs

Requirements

  • essential Skills/Experience
  • evidence of a transformative impact on an organisation within a similar role
  • close engagement/alignment across teams, including marketing and sales, in a previous roleMust have strong analytical skills
  • have deep knowledge in CRM data segmentation and data mining
  • creating strategic business management reports to be presented to different senior stakeholders, including the board
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • requires a minimum of 5 years of senior level experience in CRM data management and reporting preferably within a commercial team or commercial environment
  • customer-service orientated, self-motivated and proactive, with a thirst for knowledge
