- we are looking for someone with extensive bookkeeping experience using Xero. An accounting qualification is very helpful but not essential
- based within 30 minutes travelling distance of Letchworth is essential for this role
- if you are an experienced Xero Bookkeeper, want to work from home and enjoy having a huge amount of variety in your work then this could be the part-time and permanent job opportunity for you
- as part of a friendly team, you will look after your own clients providing a full and end to end bookkeeping service
- you will be getting daily job satisfaction from helping clients, helping team members and getting our client’s bookkeeping into the best shape of it’s life
- this is a part time and employed role and we want to give you the autonomy to work mainly from home and flexibly. You will usually work a minimum of 25 hours per week over 5 days per week but you can choose the hours you work
- maintaining effective bookkeeping files and records
Requirements
- comprehensive bookkeeping or accounting experience
- accounting or bookkeeping qualification
- understanding and application of bookkeeping practices
- understanding of VAT and CIS requirements
- strong numerical skills
- ability to interpret financial information and highlight issues or trends
- good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- strong IT skills and able to do data entry at a good speed
