Responsibility
to ensure the expectations of all, including clients, counsellors and external agencies are appropriately managed, through proactive and consistent communication
to manage all client appointments, handling any attendance issues in a timely, sensitive and professional manner
to act as the main point of contact for enquiries and referrals into the Service, ensuring appropriateness is reviewed, and all referrers and clients receive a positive, genuine and professional first contact
to support the RAG system for conducting initial assessments with clients to predict suitability and need for therapeutic intervention
to liaise with the Counselling Team members to ensure a joined up response to client and agency enquiries
to conduct Initial Assessments with clients to establish current and predicted suitability for therapeutic support, and respond appropriately to any issues or concerns identified
to ensure a positive response with any clients contacting the service who are awaiting counselling, to help keep individuals engaged, whilst reassessing need/risk and undertaking appropriate and completing any timely signposting and/or onwards referrals
to accurately capture and record all relevant information in relation to the day-to-day operation of the service, including client outcomes
Requirements
