Requirements
- prior experience as a Barback or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- excellent knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques
- strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- ability to learn and master our 22 cocktails and expand your knowledge of classic cocktails
- good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Responsibility
- craft and serve our signature drinks, including our 16 cocktails, with precision and care
- restock bar supplies, including liquor, beer, mixers, and garnishes, to ensure that the bar is always fully stocked
- educate guests on our drinks menu, offer recommendations and create personalised drinks based on their preferences
- maintain a clean and organised bar area, including cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste
- keep track of inventory and alert management when supplies are running low
- follow all health and safety guidelines, including wearing gloves during food prep, to ensure the safety of our guests and staff
- provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, building relationships, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- keep the bar area clean and organized at all times, including wiping down counters and equipment, sweeping the floor, and disposing of empty glasses and bottles
