senior engineer
Responsibility
- to build strong relationships with suppliers and engineers /sub-contractors covering a variety of disciplines i.e. decorators, builders, electricians and plumbers
- to manage planned and reactive works
- responsible for delivering multiple projects at one time throughout the London area
- planning and assessing project progress continually throughout the duration of work
- to carry out surveys of properties and produce quotations for a range of refurbishment and repair works across a multitude of trades - Value initially up to £50K
- providing regular updates and reports while attending weekly meetings
- supporting the office departments with site audits, progress updates, resolving technical issues and assisting with quotations
- managing the site team of engineers efficiently to ensure all works are completed on time, on budget and to the highest standards
Requirements
- project Management experience is necessary
- trade experience is necessary - may need to work on the tools if and when required
- CSCS & SMSTS is required
- experience of producing detailed quotations with competitive costs
- good understanding of industry with strong ability to negotiate
- attention to detail, can work independently and prioritise workload
- has a Proactive, hands-on approach
- strong written and communication skills with focus on delivering high quality customer service
