Responsibility
- operate a telehandler to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
- safely load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas
- transport materials to designated locations within the worksite
- follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating the telehandler
- perform routine maintenance and inspections on the telehandler
Requirements
- previous experience operating a telehandler or similar heavy equipment is required
- knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating a telehandler
- knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating heavy equipment
- ability to read and interpret blueprints or instructions for material placement
- ability to read and understand work orders and instructions
- strong communication skills to coordinate with other team members on the construction site
- strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy materials as needed
