Responsibility
- full responsibility for design, production and installation of all scenic construction, props, and other set
- workshops and sites are well managed, resourced correctly and there is high team moral
- developing systems and processes to improve the effectiveness of the production department
- work with the client services department to assist in closing of new business
- develop systems and process to ensure that design, workshop and installation are becoming more effective and efficient over time
- work alongside other senior management to ensure communication and any issues are resolved
- manage Design, fabrication and installation departments to ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget
Requirements
- excellent organisational skills
- experience at senior management level
- experience in Events, Theatre or film/TV
- A strong knowledge in making/construction across a wide variety of materials
- sophisticated and friendly communicator
- problem solver
- confidence and patience to manage a team through busy periods
- computer literate and able to work with a variety of project management systems to communicate with the rest of the team
