Responsibility
prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to our menu standards and maintaining consistency for our customers
coordinate and prepare food stock for preparation and report ordering requirements to management to ensure availability of ingredients and minimise wastage
ensure 100% adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times – knowledge and experience of this is essential
work independently during quieter service times, taking full ownership of meal preparation
provide guidance and direction to your supporting kitchen porter staff during the busier service times when they will be on shift
Requirements
A genuine passion for cooking
ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
strong organisational skills and attention to detail
practicable knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
