Responsibility
- greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional atmosphere
- assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations to optimise guest flow
- take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, menus, and waiting areas
- provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
- handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- support catering events as required, ensuring all aspects are executed smoothly
Requirements
- strong background in hospitality with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- experience in food preparation or catering is highly desirable
- knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- bartending skills would be an advantage but are not essential
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike
