Responsibility
- developing and evolving customer service guidelines ensuring that they are distributed to all front-line staff
- assisting in the creation and distribution of staff rotas and budgets ensuring that the venue is always adequately staffed
- ensuring staff holiday and sickness management are accurately recorded and that timesheets are submitted for payroll in a timely manner
- hiring, training, and performance managing the Retail, Café and Event Supervisors and Front of House crew, acting as a customer-focussed role model and ensuring, through training, that all Visitor Experience staff have the appropriate skills and experience to deliver excellent customer service
- compiling attendance data and preparing weekly reports
- assisting with the deployment of an annual training plan to ensure that all team members training is up to date and relevant for the requirements of the operation
- to be a daily Duty Manager, including on ‘Lates’ events, working on a rota system over a seven-day week and to be a keyholder for the building
- driving income generation through fostering commercial awareness throughout the Visitor Experience team including upselling opportunities
