Responsibility

- sprinkler SERVICE engineer
- due to our ongoing success and increased service contracts, we are seeking to immediately recruit a sprinkler service engineer
Show more +13 - out of hours call outs, scheduled on a weekly rota
- the role will involve working Individually and with our other experienced Service Engineers to
- overtime available if desired
- carry out essential PPM on fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment
- create detailed reports following every service visit, logging site faults and potential remedial works
- be able to diagnose faults and carry out minor repairs on sprinkler systems
- have a basic understanding of fire panels and isolations
- servicing/troubleshooting various fire alarm systems and related equipment, and complete all appropriate paperwork, in accordance with the British Standard requirements where applicable
- be available for call outs
- as a service / test engineer you will work closely with our office and the client to ensure that every site functions properly, servicing / testing all aspects of their system and logging any defects you may find on site to ensure a quick turnaround of remedials so it is at its upmost best operation condition
- knowledge of LPC and sprinkler related rulings

Requirements
- FIA fire alarm units qualification or equivalent
- knowledge of BS5839 is essential
- broad knowledge of various addressable and conventional fire alarm panels is very highly desirable

- 2394/5 electrical testing and inspection
- full driving licence
