Responsibility

  • we currently have an opening for a transport and maintenance planner to support our current team
  • conversing with drivers to ensure these are completed and keeping up to date records of each vehicle
  • previous experience within the transport industry is preferred
  • pay is £28'000 to £32'000 per year dependant on experience and a successful probation period
  • the main duties of the successful applicant will be to organise and check completion of the company vehicles planned maintenance and organising the repairs of any defects
  • secondary duties include compliance record keeping, ensuring drivers and vehicle downloads are up to date and providing general assistance to transport related tasks within our busy office
  • the ideal candidate is motivated, can work as part of a team as well as completing individual tasks, has good organisational skills and is polite and comfortable conversing with suppliers, customers and other members of staff
  • \*\*\*The shift times are 12:00 to 21:00 5 days per week - Sunday to Thursday\*\*\
