Responsibility
- manage delivery of customer contract work ensuring targets are completed on-time
- monitor productivity and quality and adjust practices as required
- carry out on machine maintenance and housekeeping
- operate TextureJet’s suite of surface processing technologies including running customer demonstrations
- work with the full engineering team on design and development of new products and applications
- work with engineering manager to plan timelines to meet the customers’ expectations
- work with the Health & Safety team to ensure safe working practices
- support with mechanical assemble work for production and prototypes
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- minimum C&G HNC / HND in an engineering discipline
- minimum 3 years referenced industry experience in a CNC machine operator role
- understanding of CAD and machine programming and CAD to CAM
- prior knowledge of robot arm functions and programming would be an advantage but not essential
- knowledge of producing low volume, high precision and high-quality parts
- willingness to learn, develop and progress their career within the advanced manufacturing sector
- flexible and adaptable to the demands of the role and specialist equipment
- excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret the customers’ technical requirements
