Working hours

Responsibility
- at our site in Normanton we are a packing plant that produces retail packs of sugar for retail customers
- to maintain the equipment
- carry out daily pre planned maintenance
- we are currently recruiting for an Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our busy food factory in Normanton. 60% Electrical and 40% Mechanical abilities
- attend break downs and machine installations
- to effectively communicate with colleagues across the factory to ensure minimum production down time in the event of line stoppage
- to ensure that all documentation is completed correctly and promptly in line with company procedures
- to maintain production efficiency by ensuring the machinery is in good working order, to maximise output
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- apprentice Engineer trained
- good working knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH
- an adaptable and flexible approach to work activities
- ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- excellent attendance and timekeeping
- hardworking with high standards in all aspects of their work
