Requirements

  • must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a mental health nurse
  • must have an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care
  • must be based in the UK and willing to travel where required
  • must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have a valid pin

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • establishing effective relationships with the service user as-well as relatives and carers
  • administering medication correctly
  • liaising with other healthcare professionals in relation to the needs of the service user
  • discussing the best way to provide care for the service user whilst talking to them about their condition
  • maintaining service users’ records, producing care plans and carrying out risk assessments
