Responsibility

  • achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education
  • carrying out the day to day running of the setting
  • effectively leading and managing the staff team
  • effectively managing occupancy levels to ensure adherence to staff/children ratio
  • ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all time
  • developing and maintaining strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early year needs
  • planning and resourcing materials which is required for the setting
  • take the lead in the preparation of a stimulating and culturally rich environment according to the true spirit of Montessori principles

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years management experience within the childcare sector
  • minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • montessori experience and/or qualification is desirable but not essential
  • motivated and reliable
  • passionate about Early Years
  • creative and adaptive to a fun and inspiring way of working
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
