Responsibility

  • conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure their optimal functioning
  • analyse machine breakdowns, identify root causes, and develop strategies to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future

  • maintain accurate maintenance records, including documentation of repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities
  • identify opportunities for machine performance improvement and implement modifications or upgrades to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality
  • adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to optimize machine performance and resolve technical issues
  • conduct regular safety inspections of machines and equipment, identifying and addressing potential hazards promptly

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • in-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing machinery
  • proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of machines and equipment
  • relevant work experience will also be considered
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • proven experience as a Maintenance/Machine Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
