Responsibility
- designing and planning FTTP networks based on client requirements utilizing existing BT Openreach infrastructure
- creating detailed network design documents using QGIS as the design platform
- creating network design & site surveys documents
- creating bill of materials and cost estimates for FTTP projects
- coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget
- staying up to date with industry trends and best practices related to FTTP design and planning
Requirements
- minimum of 3 years of experience in FTTP design and planning preferred
- minimum of 3 years of experience in FTTP design and planning
- strong understanding of telecommunications network design and architecture
- proficiency in using design and planning tools such as QGIS, Adobe and Visio
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- attention to detail and ability to multitask
- ability to work from the office, Located in Micklefield, Leeds
