TECHNICAL ABSORBENTS is looking for employees for positions:

production manager

Responsibility

  • the Production Manager will form part of the leadership team and will report directly to the Operations Director
  • you will have full responsibility for a 24/7 continuous production facility
  • you will be an advocate of continuous improvement methodologies throughout all aspects of the production team
  • you will be customer focussed to ensure products are manufactured in line with customer specifications whilst controlling manufacturing costs within budget
  • you will be an excellent people manager capable of developing, mentoring and coaching staff to ensure they have the skills and motivation to perform all duties to the highest of standards whilst maintaining KPI's
  • you will be tasked with improving and maintaining key metrics, such as OEE, across both product lines whilst the business continues its growth plan moving to more specialised products and markets
  • you will investigate all near misses/incidents/accidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented following root cause analysis
  • you will lead operational excellence to ensure the manufacturing team exceeds all key targets of output, yield, quality and Health and Safety
