account manager

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience of primary account management in broadcast technology, IP, or cloud
  • experience selling and supporting broadcast and media customers
  • knowledge of compressed audio/video and media transport and audio-visual standards
  • understanding of real time transport protocols such as RTP, UDP and MPEG-TS
  • AWS certified practitioner or higher
  • full understanding of sales staging, lifecycle management, and high value sales activity
  • ability to be onsite at Bracknell office 2-3 times/week when not visiting customers
  • effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels

  • develop and implement the account strategy according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate strategic growth
  • passionately present and demonstrate technology and solutions to customers at all levels with an emphasis on simplicity and transparency
  • techex is a UK based global leader in innovative IP and cloud video solutions, solving complex problems for world-class broadcast and media companies through its own mission critical software as well as partnering with emerging technology companies who are challenging the way IP and cloud is used to move and manage video
  • develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • this expertise is underpinned by trusted partner status and long-term continuous development engagements with our customers across the broadcast landscape including global broadcast and media companies, rights holders, production service providers, and managed service providers
  • our experienced teams create long term value through understanding complex problems and the application of our focused competencies and best-of-breed technology to address them
  • build continuous engagement through video calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • establish and build strong strategic and working relationships with business leaders at all levels and expand Techex reach and relationships across the entire customer portfolio
