Responsibility

  • you will be responsible for delivering IT change programmes and projects
  • you will demonstrate personal commitment and accountability to ensure standards are continuously sustained and improved both within the internal teams, and with partner organisations and suppliers
  • IT includes technologies used to support and deliver the networks, devices, desktop services, messaging, unified communications, mobility services, information technology security, and IT management systems (e.g
  • identity and access management) required to deliver information technology services across Tech21 and to provide the leadership and line management for the IT Team
  • you will manage Tech21’s 3rd party delivery partners and outsourced IT service providers to ensure the successful delivery of the portfolio of IT change initiatives
  • we are looking for you to ensure strategic alignment between Tech21’s IT delivery and business needs and be an expert and adviser on all IT delivery matters
  • JOB PURPOSE: The Senior IT Manager is an effective senior manager and team player with the ability to manage effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • ensure compliance with relevant legislation including the Computer Misuse Act, the Data Protection and Health & Safety Acts

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar role leading large multi-stream programs in complex, multiple stakeholders, matrix managed technology environments
  • experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • strong influencing skills and ability to communicate complex technologies and processes in a clear and coherent way
  • exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills
  • proven experience demonstrating the principles of excellent customer service
  • able to handle multiple competing priorities whilst possessing a high level of discipline, professionalism, and flexibility
  • attention to detail
