Responsibility
- we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Asbestos Surveyor to join Corby Borough Council’s Asbestos Management Team
- the work is quite repetitive,surveyor would have to produce surveys by hand written notes and or PDA
- minimum qualification would be Asbestos surveying and sampling P402 ,Ideally additionally P405 management and have a strong Health and Safety background
- person concerned be able to assess and carry out and deal emergency asbestos situations that may occur
- as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst you will be joining a team responsible for the delivery of Asbestos Services, including; Asbestos Surveys
- you will need to input data, prepare reports and maintain detailed records, so IT skills are essential, although training will be given
- you will have a very good knowledge of asbestos legislation and associated guidance as well as experience of asbestos surveys and laboratory protocols
