Responsibility
managing the branch staff to ensure that they carry out their roles to an acceptable standard
carrying out annual appraisals for branch staff & set SMART objectives for the year ahead
monitoring branch performance to ensure sales & profit targets are met
ensuring quotations are completed & sent to customer in a timely manner & within agreed timescales
ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and correctly
ensuring all customers’ details are correct in the system
to be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the branch and act as the escalation point for the branch & any customer issues. To achieve and drive sales targets
meet and manage customer expectations and to deal with any issues that may arise or in some cases escalate as necessary
Requirements
always remain professional with colleagues, customers & suppliers
maintain the confidentiality of all company information
investigate, propose & implement improved processes within the branch
time management & attention to detail
assist other branches with their workload as required
any other reasonable duties as requested
