Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- undertake the maintenance and repairs on the fleet of commercial vehicles
- diagnosing Faults
- ensure all service and inspection documentation is correctly completed
- completion of job sheets and quantification of time
- contribute towards effective “preventative maintenance”
- complete all work right first time, every time
- TDW Distribution are a family owned distribution haulier based in Bridgend, South Wales. We have a fleet of over 80 vehicles operating throughout the UK and Northern Europe, specialising in the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods
- liaise accurately with your managers as to work in progress and any anticipated delays or issues
Requirements
- IRTEC Inspection Technician qualification or similar desirable
- must hold a valid car licence
- experience not necessary
- to be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed
- to carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and parts replacement in accordance with Company Standard operating Procedures
- to be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions
- must fully comply with Health and Safety legislation
- to provide routine maintenance and repairs to equipment and vehicles within our fleet in a timely manner and with excellence in quality
