Responsibility
- perform MIG welding techniques to specific standards to comply with BSEN1090
- ability to fabricate steel and stainless steel to high standards meeting company and customer requirements
- ability to maintain high housekeeping levels
- ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- operation of various machinery and the ability to use heavy plant equipment, such as forklifts and cranes
- working to the highest levels of health and safety
- highly motivated with good communication skills
- confident working independently and part of a team
Requirements
- previous welding experience including structural steel work
- previous welding experience
- in possession of a full, valid UK driving license
- formal training through a vocational or technical school/college, minimum level NVQ 2 relevant welder or welding fabricator certifications
- physical strength & stamina
- have a desire to learn and develop
- fabricating/welding: 5 years
