Responsibility

  • act as a key data protection and compliance subject matter expert, supporting critical transformation projects which involve the processing of personal data

  • lead and support a team of factory operatives day-to-day to ensure that the assembly of timber components is effectively managed and done to agreed targets
  • ensure that the quality of the output of the teams is to the agreed level and review quality scores on a regular basis

factory operative

Responsibility

  • assembly of external and internal wall Panels and partitions including the assembly of floor cassettes

commercial administrator

Responsibility

  • maintain potential sub-contractor files and process new sub-contractors for inclusion on Tender lists/Health and Safety Matrix and obtain the appropriate approvals
  • liaising with Groundworkers and Reconomy to obtain up-to-date information with regards to Site Waste Management Matrices and SWMP’s for new sites
  • open, date stamp and distribute daily post and put in relevant trays for each Buyer
  • assist in tendering subcontractor and materials including uploading documents to Dochosting for tender/Site use
  • create Framework Agreements and issue to sub-contractors for signing, log to ensure outstanding agreements are chased on a timely basis and submit to company solicitors once returned for certification. Update Framework Agreement Matrix
  • assist team to ensure we remain fully compliant with the Operating Framework
  • chase outstanding sub-contractor tenders as and when required
  • maintain department daily calendar ensuring it is kept up-to-date with all holidays and meetings

Requirements

  • computer Literacy with a reasonable understanding of AutoCAD
  • full driving licence or working towards a licence and access to a car preferred
  • minimum qualification level of BTEC Level 3 qualification in Construction and the Built Environment OR a degree in architecture, construction or engineering-related
  • comfortable using engineering related software like AutoCAD, PDS and Microdrainage

  • inform the Planning Manager of any budget/financial issues
  • advise Scheduling Supervisor of any on-site design/construction issues including details and possible solution
  • inform the Planning Manager of any site delays
  • attend pre-order meetings with Sales and Client as required
