  • tastily is looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to work closely with our Executive Chef and Food Operations Manager ensuring delicious meals are being sent out each week
  • hours - 44 hours approximately, per week. This can be over 4 or 5 days depending on the requirements of the business. Currently the kitchen is operational between 8am and 10.30pm

  • experience in a kitchen environment leading teams
  • fair and firm management abilities with high influencing skills
  • strong knowledge of food
  • hands-on approach to all operational aspects
  • excellent communication skills and computerskills
  • training and coachingskills
  • food Hygiene certificate, level 3 is preferable
  • good attitude, this is a start-up environment so will need adaptability and quick thinking

Responsibility

  • to liaises with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop and enhance all food operations
  • assist with development of menus
  • ensure that the highest of standards of food quality, “service” and cleanliness are achieved
  • follow the instructions and recommendations from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to complete the daily tasks
  • ensure minimum kitchen wastage
  • awareness of recipes and methods of production
  • ensure that production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality
  • the ability to follow instruction and work on your own initiative
