Responsibility

  • carry out electronic check-out reports and liaise with the maintenance department to increase efficiencies of void properties
  • ensure both the electric & heating is working in vacant properties before a placement moves in
  • manage placement switchovers of gas & electric
  • liaise with main office to meet referrals at vacant properties & demonstrate use of all heating & electrical systems
  • organize & carry out routine Health & Safety inspections of occupied properties across Greater Belfast to identify issues while liaising with the housing maintenance department to and resolve any issues
  • ensure all lease agreements are signed & correctly logged onto the Housing Management System
  • meet with placements, landlords, letting agents, maintenance workers & external 3rd parties at properties to resolve any maintenance or compliance issues that may arise and report back any findings to main office
  • ensure that all placements adhere to the lease agreement & deliver verbal and written warnings when appropriate
