Responsibility
- utilises analytical methods, finite element and other analysis tools for supporting product design and verification of structural integrity
- develops test plans, supports test execution and analyses/reports test results to validate and verify structural integrity
- develops/executes certification and qualification plans to substantiate and validate airframe structures against customer and certification requirements
- supports internal/external design reviews, critical milestones
- reviews, makes recommendations and approves reworks and repairs on manufacturing defects
- performing structural analyses with hand calculations and aided by FEA programs
- supports the efforts to establish challenging aircraft performance criteria by utilizing optimization methods and tool in order to obtain the most weight efficient, realistic and feasible structure
- leading the team at the help required subjects and guiding them for learning the failure theories of metals and composite structures
