Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Responsibility
- set up and operate and program CNC machines according to specifications
- read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- collaborate with team members to improve production processes
- maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- proven experience as a CNC Machinist, setter, programmer or similar role
- strong knowledge of materials handling, tooling, and mechanical principles
- proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- familiarity with Fusion, SolidWorks or other CAD software
- basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
