Responsibility

  • you have completed your degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering and are thinking about what to do now…
  • assisting with the preparation of outline design schemes
  • visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress
  • you completed your degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering within the last 2 years, have gained some relevant industry experience and now feel ready to progress further in your career…
  • using specialist computer-aided design and BIM software and other resources to design the systems required for the project
  • assisting with the checking of documents and carry out detailed calculations
  • assisting with the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedure
  • there are plenty of options available, but what’s really important to you?

Requirements

  • accredited Building Services or Electrical Engineering degree or higher educational qualification
  • autoCAD skills
  • relevant building services design experience
  • experience with IES modelling, Revit MEP and Dialux or Amtech would be nice to have
  • confident user of AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Dialux or Amtech
  • knowledge of British Standards and UK building regulations
  • some relevant work/placement experience would be a definite advantage
