- conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities
- review and evaluate contractor bids and proposals
- monitor project costs and provide cost control advice
- prepare and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- collaborate with project managers/site managers to ensure projects stay within budget
- conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
Requirements
- understanding HSE Building regulations and legal guidelines
- proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the house building industry
- strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong communication and negotiation skills
