Responsibility

  • setting up of Servery Counter/Point of Service of Food, practising portion control as per guidelines, also ensuring good food presentation
  • washing up of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, ensuring food Health & Safety practises
  • removal of waste products and rubbish from all eating areas
  • reporting of faulty equipment
  • maintaining a clean work area by regular cleaning of all equipment, store rooms and ancillary areas
  • observation of hygiene regulations
  • ensuring that food is stored correctly and at correct temperature
  • 1. Preparation and cooking of all food for service in establishment and where necessary outside operations to the standards laid down by the Management
