Responsibility
- your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing electrical systems and ensuring safety across diverse environments
- as an Electrician, you'll be responsible for inspecting, testing, and certifying electrical installations in commercial and industrial spaces, with a focus on office, education, leisure, hospitality, and light industrial settings
- you'll also perform necessary electrical remedial work to ensure compliance with current regulations and handle various installation tasks, from adding outlets to full fit-outs and rewiring projects
- hours of Work: Some out-of-hours working will be required, with enhanced rates of pay applied as appropriate. Typically, 1-2 weeks of nights, and 2 Saturdays per month
Requirements
- applicants must possess City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 or equivalent inspection & testing qualification
- an organised and motivated person with the ability to work on their own initiative
- an effective communicator with a flexible approach regarding out of hours working
- applicants must possess a minimum City & Guilds 236 parts A & B / 2360 part 1 & 2 / 2330 levels 2 & 3 and City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition
