Responsibility
- fabricate and assemble wooden structures to form elements for Exhibition stands
- read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the structure
- measure, cut, shape, and smooth wood using hand tools and power tools
- install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
- fit and install prefabricated parts to form structures or fixtures
- ensure that all joinery work is done accurately and meets quality standards
- collaborate with other employees
- maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- proven experience as a joiner or similar role
- proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- strong knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties
- ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications
- excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if required
- joinery: 4 years
- carpentry: 4 years
