- setting and Operating: Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centres and Multi-axis Machining Centres to produce precision components
- quality Assurance: Ensure all machined components meet strict quality standards and specifications
- maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machining equipment to ensure optimal performance
- collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and optimize machining processes
- continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining efficiency and productivity
- programming: Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD & CAM software, preferably Camworks or Edgecam, or Matrix Mazitrol for the Mazak Integrex machine tool range
Requirements
- CNC Machinist: 4 years
- cnc programming: 4 years
- experience: Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating Vertical Machining Centres and Multi-axis Machining Centres
- attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality components
- problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively
- team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the production team and contribute to a positive work environment
- reading, Berkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
