Responsibility

  • we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager
  • proactively identifying new business opportunities and following them up
  • create strategies to successfully reach new and existing business opportunities in order to achieve revenue and market growth
  • founded in 1920, Synthite has a long and successful history as a chemicals manufacturer. The company has gained an excellent reputation from its prestigious customer base for quality, reliability, flexibility and speed of response
  • arrange and deliver successful business meetings with both new and existing customers
  • build relationships with both new and existing customers, understanding their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • pitching products to both new and existing customers
  • create sales forecasts based on market needs and proactively work towards achieving them

Requirements

  • relevant Scientific Degree i.e. Chemistry
  • proven track record in business development, sales, or related field within the Chemical Industry
  • strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • knowledge of market research techniques and analysis
  • business development: 5 years
