Responsibility
- in depth creation and management of network and system monitoring tools
- BAU Changes and management of Syntec SIP products
- escalation of SIP issues from other sources. Handle change management requests / code deployments
- on-call escalation for issues
- develop strategies to maintain and enhance platform availability and security posture
- research and evaluate new technologies
- responsible and accountable for day-to-day Management of Physical, Virtual and AWS systems resources and maintenance of the server infrastructure
Requirements
- confident working in ambiguous and dynamic environments
- system Engineering lifecycle from inception to production
- hands on configuration and debugging of SIP products
- 3rd/4th line escalation experience
- working knowledge of Nagios or Nagios based products
- hands on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB
- exposure to PCI DSS standards
- familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
