  • support engineer

Responsibility

  • the continued availability of the DELMIA solution which includes the development of critical enhancements and fixes
  • provide input into future system landscape assessment based on previous experience and industry exposure
  • plan for future database system storage requirements
  • create, manage and optimize primary database storage structures and objects
  • the continued availability of ENOVIA LCA solution which includes the development of critical enhancements and fixes. Start the planning for the replacement of ENOVIA LCA
  • ensure sufficient system resources are in place to support the operations, growth, resiliency, synchronization, and backup/recovery of all production databases
  • maintain and enhance as required the bi-directional data exchange mechanism between ENOVIA LCA and CONNECT which facilitates the design process using platforms from other brands
  • conduct database testing when integrating new production releases in support of changes, enhancements, and the integration of new systems/functions

Requirements

  • experience with Oracle
  • experience with PL/SQL
  • experience with Microsoft SQL Server/ Oracle Enterprise Manager a plus
  • experience of Aix and Linux
  • working knowledge of Solaris 10 and/or Red Hat Linux 6.0
