Responsibility
- deliver Risk & Control frameworks including Control Technical Standards, Control Libraries, Issue Management
- drive the delivery of the flexible benefits implementations and renewals

- partner with Front Office to deliver core Financial Services Front Office Control activity - including RCSA, Risk Events, Breaches and Lessons
- produce Risk-related assessments, including managing cross-functional work such as the ICARA and operational resilience
- test and administer client platform or schemes
- enable the transition of the Financial Services RCSA from Op Risk to Front Office Oversight during 2023
- account management including MI reporting and governance
- managing project work which will include annual pension increases
- manage a more junior member of the Risk team
- report reviews for Trustees
- produce reports and analysis on Risk activities and operational risk events
- implementation of projects end to end
- monitor Front Office Control failures and Breaches, lead Lessons Learned, creating action and remediation plans, and maintaining oversight
- managing team workloads alongside monitoring team performance against SLA’s whilst striving to maintain the levels of service required
- training and mentoring junior members of staff
- produce and maintain relevant policies, procedures and records
- maintain the Financial Services Control Library and governance and oversight of the Issue Management and Risk Event processes
- contribute to broader work carried out by the team to continually enhance controls
- lead, support, facilitate and provide input to existing Oversight and Risk & Control frameworks - including Risk & Control Self Assessments , Conduct Risk Assessments , Scenario Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
- mature the risk management framework, including but not limited to working with the business to formalise risk and control self assessments and reporting
- undertake analysis on areas such as Financial Services Front Office Risk Events, Complaints, and Breaches to identify and advise on appropriate remedial action across the Front Office and to ensure completion of those activities
- support analysis of risk events, complaints and breaches and ensure completion of any remedial action required

- this is a London based role with 2 days a week in the office, the rest can be working from home
- support the Head of department lead the Employer Relationship Team and manage junior members of the team

- be the technical expert for the team
- strong stakeholder management with effective influencing skills
