Responsibility
- we are an architectural metal fabrication company
- the role will have a blend of manual working including welding and general metal fabrication
- symbiotics Design Consultancy Limited are recruiting for an experienced and multi-skilled Welder / Fabricator to work at our site located at our manufacturing facility in West Dean on the outskirts of Romsey / Salisbury on a permanent basis
- working to meet our customers’ needs and specifications, we are looking for somebody that is extremely committed to quality and has excellent attention to detail
- you will report direct to the Workshop Supervisor but will work closely with the Production Manager, the design team and most importantly, the fabrication team
- we have a Bystronic CNC laser, Trumpf tube laser, CNC press brakes, and a well-equipped welding department and fabrication workshop with metal polishing and finishing completed in-house
Requirements
- A proven track record with MIG welding experience in light to heavy duty steel fabrication
- A proven track record with MIG & TIG welding experience in light to heavy duty steel fabrication
- A clear understanding and dedication to H&S within a busy workshop
- complete understanding of ferrous or non-ferrous materials
- confident in working independently and on your own initiative
- hold a forklift driving certificate
- TIG welding experience
- excellent communication skills at all levels and a pro-active attitude to problem solving
