Responsibility
- SWORD Engineering Ltd is a small, family run engineering business based in Wem, Shropshire
- be empowered to make decisions, rather than only being able to raise questions that someone else decides on
- managing and improving the Company’s QHSE systems and encouraging a culture of excellence and compliance
- no one here is just a number or a seat
- manage entire operations of projects, ensuring delivery is efficient, on time and to a high standard
- the Directors are approachable, and staff engage and communicate, from top to bottom
- logistical responsibilities such as scheduling installations, organising workload, issuing fabrication drawings, ordering materials/consumables
- dealing with customer/supplier enquiries, quotations and contracts etc
Requirements
- quality management experience within a manufacturing/engineering industry
- proven, demonstrable and thorough knowledge of ISO Standards
- proven track record as a Health and Safety Professional
- performed principal contractor role, fully conversant with CDM Regulations
- have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems
- project Management experience
- have knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, including being able to read fabrication drawings
- excellent communication and presentation skills
