Responsibility

  • develop and maintain interactive applications within Unreal Engine 5
  • collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design concepts into fully functional UI elements
  • implement dynamic UI features, such as menus, buttons, panels, and interactive elements within Unreal Engine
  • work with JSON data formatting and parsing for application configuration, settings, and data exchange
  • create Tools to help improve work flow
  • optimise performance, ensuring smooth animations, responsiveness, and user interactions, particularly on a wide range of applications
  • assist in integrating third-party libraries or tools for enhancing applications
  • troubleshoot, debug, and optimise elements to ensure they are functional and performant

Requirements

  • experience with Unreal Engine 5 with experience in UI framework for developing user interfaces
  • strong understanding of Unreal Engine’s workflow for integrating UI components, handling data bindings, and dynamic UI updates
  • knowledge of JSON formatting, parsing, and serialisation for configuration and application data handling
  • excellent understanding of 3D visualisation concepts and how they apply to interactive applications
  • experience with 3D modelling software for working with assets that will be used in the environment
  • familiarity with additional tools for prototyping or asset creation
  • experience working with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional, high-performance UI elements
  • knowledge of integrating multimedia elements within Unreal Engine’s UIs
