helps the Superintendent Pharmacist to respond promptly to new guidelines or professional standards
aware of MHRA recalls and acts accordingly
fulfils the professional duties of a registered Pharmacist to statutory standards and codes of practice in accordance with best practice, and acts effectively and ethically to meet needs
maintains a professional and clinical network for the sharing of ideas, advice, information and peer support
co-ordinates and contributes to the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy, which will include clinical checks of prescriptions; advice and information; dispensing of hospital, GP and private prescriptions; NHS Pharmacy advance and enhanced services; over the counter sales of medicines; relevant retail sales and training delivery in a healthcare environment
shares in developing the business plan, drives performance against it, and contributes to the delivery of elements of the business plan on time and in full
liaises with Trust staff to support our common goal
recruits, trains, accredits and develops staff to meet business and professional needs, builds team spirit and motivation, leads by example, and on delegation from the Pharmacy Manager, monitors performance, including performance reviews
