  • an exciting new opportunity has arisen for the position of Packer at our Skipton based production facility
  • A knowledge of HACCP and FSA procedures would also be advantageous
  • the candidate will be required to assemble cardboard boxes and fill with selected products
  • there will be elements of handling raw meat as well as occasional heavy lifting
  • based on 45 hours per week , 8am to 5pm with breaks
  • we are a Skipton-based meat processer and an opportunity has come up for a Butcher with relevant experience in breaking bodies and portioning meat to order, to consistently deliver quality, on spec product in the timescales required
  • we are a raw meat retailer and the job will require excellent communication skills, team working as well as a positive, can do attitude
  • the applicant should have the necessary butchery skills, be a good team player and have an interest in traditional processing techniques, though full on the job training will be provided
