Responsibility
- SW Locums are seeking an accomplished, UK experienced Team Manager to work the Children With Disabilities Team in Lambeth
- the expectation is that the candidate will be in the office at least 3 days per week
- to carry a caseload including those where there are high levels of risk
- to undertake Safeguarding investigations and attend case conferences on occasions
- to use the Home first approach at white boards and MDMs. Prevent non acute /social admissions
- all children are to be seen face to face unless you have COVID confirmed
- SW Locums are looking for an experienced Social Worker to work in our Tewkesbury, Children's Safeguarding Team. All applicants must hold right to work in the UK and be registered with Social Work England
- to be responsible for undertaking and supporting a range of case work of customers with non-complex needs under manager supervision
Requirements
- significant experience of work within mental health and /or Adult services, including assessments and statutory work
- the team have a history of street homelessness and substance misuse, especially alcohol
- experience of multi-disciplinary inter-agency basis and ability to negotiate on behalf of customers and carers
- you may be required to assess people living in other parts of the rough sleeping provision
- SWE DBS 1 years experience
- qualification, SWE registration
- experience of the application of theoretical models and relevant research
- working with children in care
