Responsibility
- overseeing the adoption and/or optimisation of new technology to enhance patient access and experience, and to increase PCN productivity
- leading an improvement approach to change, including building capability for quality improvement within the PCN, and system-wide approaches to problem solving
- improving operational efficiency including better matching capacity to need, staff experience at work
- supporting the development and roll out of new IT solutions
- understanding of the type and intensity of support and training needs of the PCN and coordinate this support
- building relationships and facilitating collaboration between practices and the wider system, to support the delivery of care to patients
- reviewing and improving the PCNs digital maturity, using data, and improving data quality, to understand demand, capacity and activity, and to drive improvements in patient experience of access
- alert other team members to issues of quality and risk
