machine operator
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- full training will be given to the successful candidate
- set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining of stone products
- read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job
- monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of tasks
- make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
- inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Requirements
- proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
